Barney is a 7 year old Dachshund mix weighing in at 17.6 lbs. He is currently working to lose 2-3 lbs.

Barney is much like his purple dinosaur namesake, he wants to be apart of a big happy family. This little guy is a lover boy and wants to be with his people. Cuddling, belly rubs, meal time and even potty time Barney requires an audience. A little timid at first but once this boy feels comfortable he will never leave your side. Full of love to give Barney is going to be singing I LOVE YOU, YOU LOVE ME before you know it.

Barney has perfected his doggy manners, he is leash, crate and potty trained. This boy will not willing go into his crate, he has to be placed in and of course he needs his emotional support person to go potty. Great with dogs, cats, and gentle respectful children. A securely fenced in yard is required in Barney’s new home. Daily walks are preferred to help him in his weight loss journey.

This lovable little guy is never too far away, he wants to be close to his people. Barney will make a great addition to any BIG HAPPY FAMILY. Will it be your lucky day?

All of our animals are fully vetted which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped) prior to adoption.
