Everyone, say hi to Gloria! She came into the shelter April 4, 2024 with her siblings and mom. Just babies at 4 weeks old. They all came in with non contagious mange and once old enough they have started treatment and medicated baths and are looking better by the day and the hair is filling in so nicely. Gloria is a very friendly dog who loves to play and can also be a little bit funny and silly too. She loves giving kisses to her human friends and receiving plenty of affection in return. Even though Gloria is a baby, she already has a great personality and a playful spirit. She would love a family that can spend lots of time with her helping her to learn manners so she can blossom into a wonderful adult dog. All puppies need guidance, consistency, patience, time, and love. Even though Gloria hasn't been around other dogs, she has a lot of love to give, and will make a great addition to a family. We are a non-profit orginization relying on donations. We do have a contract witht the county to provide shelter for strays brought in. We have limited space but try to get our animals back to thier families and if that can not be accomplished we work hard on finding them new homes.
We do what we do because we love animals. We are realistic in in efforts, understand the problem and work towards educating the public on what needs to be done to prevent over population.
