Odin, Itsy, Oscar, and Tevi were born on the streets to a sweet cat named Rosita (also available for adoption!). A nice couple who feeds the stray cats in the neighborhood would LOVE to get this feline family off the streets and into loving homes. As well as caring for the neighborhood cats, the couple also has seven rescue cats of their own, and doesn't have the resources to take in more. Right now the kittens are in a dangerous situation, living in a trash pile near the road. Homes or fosters are desperately needed. The kittens have appointments for vaccinations and sterilization on May 29.

More about this rescue

Defensa Animal de Puerto Rico is a Puerto Rico-based nonprofit working to help the dogs, cats and horses on the island by:

- Lowering the number of dogs, cats and horses that are injured, un-owned or neglected by providing adoption marketing and financial assistance for vet services
- Increasing the rate of sterilization of all cats and dogs and castration of stallions/horses
- Taking in, rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted, injured or abandoned horses

For dogs, cats, pigs, birds, etc., Defensa relies on foster homes. For horse rescue, Defensa utilizes donated land.
