Meet Hank!

This sweet boy is one of the most laid-back dogs you'll ever meet. He's just grateful to be alive! The ideal day for Hank involves snuggles, play, snuggles, food, sunbathing, and more snuggles if there is time.

But Hank has a guilty pleasure...

Hank is the neighbour who knows what everyone else on the street is up to.
Sure, he likes to play with other dogs and say hello to lots of people. But his favourite activity is people watching - better yet, people watching in the sun! He'll spend all day lounging in the sun, watching people and animals go by, just enjoying the show.

This fluffy boy will need a forever family to show him the ropes in this new world of home living and teach him some basic commands and manners while they're at it.

Hank would love a home with other dogs, but he is ok being an only fur-child too. He's met cats and he will do well in a home with kitty siblings as well, given proper introductions. He hasn't met any human children yet but with proper introductions and boundaries, this chill guy will do great with some human siblings!

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
