My name is Ruby!

Say hello to Ruby!  Miss Ruby is a four year old Staffordshire terrier/Husky mix. Spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on shots. She is a precious, sweet, overgrown puppy who loves kids and loves laying on her back for extra belly rubs. Ruby would love nothing more than to run, play, and chase kids and other dogs (preferably male companions) from sun up to sun down. Even though she has a lot of energy, she still loves lounging on the couch with her humans. 

Ruby gets along with other dogs, but recently started having issues with the other female dog in her home. We think she would be a great companion for another male dog, large or small, but would recommend that she be the only female. Ruby is great with other male dogs big or small.

Ruby is not food, toy, or person aggressive, but can get a little bossy when she wants something, usually attention from you! She has her own space at feeding time even though there have never been any food  aggression issues. She loves to play tug-of-war with anything and will absolutely destroy any squeaky toy. 

Miss Ruby was originally found by her first foster mom abandoned in a crate on a street in Ft Worth. She  is a sweet and loving dog despite her ruff past. Her favorite activities include cuddling on the couch , eating, and going for walks. She is eager to please, quick to respond to corrections, and very easy to train.
