Amber is a 20lb lab mix that came in with her 2 siblings who were born 11/22/23. Upon meeting Amber she may come across as shy but once gaining her trust you'll have a best friend for life! Gaining her trust is a very rewarding experience and you'll immediately notice what a great puppy she is after doing so. She's not a huge fan of toys but doggy jerky is a quick cheat code to gaining her trust. Her, along with her brother, have very sweet dispositions that anyone would love in puppies. Sweet, energetic, calm, and seemingly easy to train. The only con to having a dog like Amber is the unfortunate fact that there's only one of her.
HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.

We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization. We have been rescuing animals since 1946, and have been in our present building since 2000.
