My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOCATION: Lawton, Oklahoma
DOB: 04/14/2017 (Estimate)

Jada: The Prancing Princess Harlequin Dane
Jada is a stunning harlequin Great Dane with long legs and a graceful prance. This beautiful girl is not just a sight to behold; she’s also friendly with everyone she meets. Jada's love for toys is pretty spectacular—she can empty a toy box in under five minutes but who’s counting? And who doesn’t have all the time in the world to clean up her toy extravaganza?! She will keep you entertained with her playful antics.
One of her charming quirks is her talkie nature. When Jada has something to say, this sassy girl will try to communicate it. You may want to listen. Perhaps it’s just gossip, but she might be a bit bossy- you decide. While she’s not a big barker, she will alert you with a bark if she hears a truck or a knock on the door. She stops as soon as she knows everything is safe. Her loyal, protective nature stands out.
Despite being “adult-ish”, she still enjoys playing and indulging in good old zoomies. She loves all dogs, though we’re not sure about her feelings towards cats. She has been around kids of all ages and gets along great with them, making her a wonderful family dog. She is a typical Velcro Dane who adores giving and receiving attention, always wanting to be close to her people.
Jada is both crate and potty trained, adding to her list of fantastic qualities. However, you do need to be careful, as she loves to play the "Catch Jada" game by occasionally trying to escape out of the house. This playful girl is also a good eater with no food aggression, making mealtime a breeze.
Fantastic Facts about Jada:
• Beautiful harlequin Great Dane with long legs and a prancing stride
• Friendly with everyone she meets
• Loves toys and can empty a toy box in minutes
• Can "talk" and barks at trucks or knocks but stops once all is safe
• Enjoys playing and showing off her zoomies
• Loves all dogs (unknown with cats)
• Great with kids of all ages
• Velcro Dane who loves giving and receiving attention
• Crate and potty trained
• Might try to escape the house for a fun game of "Catch Jada"
• Good eater with no food aggression
Jada is a wonderful girl who would bring, joy, love, and maybe a touch of royalty to any home. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate companion, Jada is your perfect match. This beautiful, charismatic gal might just charm her way into your heart!

More about this rescue

To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.

To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.

We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
