My name is Zoltar!

I call him the chillingest cat. He LOVES people and is a very nice lap cat. He sits with my son, lays his head on my son's chest, licks him and purrs.

He gets along with the Jack Russell Terrier that is also in the home. He loves to go outside, preferring to go out with you (not alone).

My daughter adopted him from the local shelter 7 years ago. His eye was infected when he was brought to the shelter. Our vet did laser treatments in addition to the ointment to treat the infection. But, he'd been turned in to the shelter too late, and the infection was too far along to save his sight in that eye. It doesn't stop him though! He's caught a mole and three mice when he was outside. He also caught a bird. I heard it crying and when I went to look, he was holding it to the patio with his paw. He let it go when I asked him softly.

My daughter has moved out of state and could not take him with her. We are hoping to find a new, loving home where he can love and be loved. He is very sweet.
