My name is Leo!

Meet Leo! A happy, fun-loving boy who is looking for a better fit home. Our family recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to re-home him due to him being very scared and anxious around our newly mobile baby. Specifically, he will growl at her if she starts to crawl or walk in his direction. While he has never bitten her, we do not want to wait and risk it, especially with plans to continue growing out family.

Leo was rescued from a dog-hoarding situation in 2021 and has come to love living inside with adult humans. Some of his favorite things are going on walks, cuddling up with a fuzzy blanket, chasing a ball in the backyard, enjoying a greenie, and laying outside in the grass and taking in the nature around him.

He would do best in an adult only home. He also does best with adults who will give him time to be slowly introduced to new people who come over. It only takes him a couple of minutes to warm up to strangers as long as he has a gentle introduction.
