My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bertha was found in south Dallas and she was in need of immediate medical care. One of her eyes was dislocated from its socket and it had started to rot. She was in alot of pain but still wanted to snuggle and be loved on. We were able to get her into surgery the next day. Bertha has now recovered and is ready to find a family of her own to cuddle with! Bertha is a pretty quiet Frenchie who will follow you everywhere you go- if you let her. She does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and she lives with a cat in her foster home. Bertha is estimated to be 2 years old, she weighs 25 pounds and her adoption fee is $800. ** French bulldogs are prone to a slew of medical issues. Please do your research on this breed. The most worrisome is IVDD. There is no way to know which french bulldogs will get this. Due to this, we require that her adopter retain pet insurance as the surgery to correct this is around $20,000.

Additional adoption info

The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
