My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, this is Leo! Leo is turning 8 years old this November and is overall a great dog. As he has gotten older, he has developed some health issues that we can no longer financially support. He had a Parotid Duct Transposition surgery for his chronic dry eye in 2018 which was very successful. He has recently been having issues with his thyroid that we have been maintaining with medication and he has responded well. The main reason we are looking to rehome him is due to his reactiveness. He was attacked by a dog when he was younger and has not been able to recover from it since then. He is okay with dogs as he lived with one for many years. I would advise slowly introducing him though as he is very anxious. He lives with cats now but again he would need to be introduced slowly. We are expecting a child soon and we are concerned for his safety. Leo has a history of aggression with children. We suggest a childless home and someone who can give him the training and attention he needs.
