Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is King. I had a rough start to life, but then I was adopted by my foster mom from a small shelter after being there for over a month. She knew I deserved a life of love & luxury (I am royalty, after all). I’m pretty much perfect, or at least that’s what she tells me. I’m friendly with everyone I meet, which is great because I am a perfect gentleman on a leash and love long walks. Im house trained, and I have polite manners. I know basic commands, like sit, stay & shake paws but don't like to lay down. Foster mom thinks something in my past may be to blame. My past is also likely why I get nervous in the kennel, more specifically, being left alone in the kennel. I really like my people and get anxious when I’m alone. But I do well when I have a dog friend to keep me company. My foster mom has a couple of cat, but they don’t like me. I’m persistent & patient - I just stare at them while they yell at me.
I’d really love an active family that wants an adventure buddy!
