My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Iris is the craziest 5 year old pitty there is! I adopted her as a puppy. She loves swimming, fetch, cuddling, walks and just being around people. She does really like attention- and unfortunately due to many circumstances we are not able to provide enough for her anymore. She does do well with kids, but I think she would be best suited in a house with older children that can play and interact with her or someone looking for a companion (which she is the best at!) She is the definition of a best friend and this is the hardest thing I’ve had to do, but I know we’re not able to give her a life she deserves. She doesn’t show signs of aggression, but is occasionally weary of new people or animals before warming up. It may be best for her to be an only animal unless you are properly introducing them. She’s not food or toy aggresive. She walks great on leash, and usually does good off-leash but we only did that when people weren’t around.
