My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What do you call a dog that you find in the middle of a rain storm? Well, if he has soaked up water like a sponge, we call him Sponge! This lovable and handsome guy looked like a drowned rat when he came in. He looks considerably better now. He is 49 pounds, which is a bit thin. We estimate him to be about 1 year old. Sponge has a gorgeous grey coat with all sorts of highlights. Pictures do not do his handsomeness justice. Sponge is looking for an active family (and probably a better name, if we are entirely honest) that loves to play as much as he does. He walks well on a leash. Sponge is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm disease and his adoption fee includes a voucher for his neuter.
