My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava is thrilled to be out of the puppy mill where she was forced to have who knows how many litters of puppies. Now, this sweet 4-year old poodle has her whole life ahead of her. Ava wasn't treated well by humans previously. She is starting to understand that she is safe and surrounded by people who are good to her. It takes puppy mill dogs a while to acclimate to home life, but they are so worth the time and effort. Ava deserves a life that is as beautiful as she is inside and out.

WANT TO MEET Ava

The first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application.

Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Ava and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.org

All our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. This gives us the ability to really get to know the animals we have available and find them families that are a good fit for them based on their personalities. We do not have a shelter to visit the animals.
