Ash was found wandering in the road by Animal Control. Owner was out of town and had left Ash alone with no food, water, or shelter.
After having been left alone by his prior owner, Ash has settled into the life of being an indoor/outdoor companion dog and is pretty much a Velcro pup, wanting to be wherever his foster mom is. A 4 month old Great Pyrenees mix, Ash has the most expressive eyes. He loves scratches and belly rubs anytime you're willing until evening when he gets his puppy energy! Ash loves playing with the Golden Retriever in his foster home and also the 22 year human helps him burn off his night time energy. Ash loves all toys, balls, chewy treats, and playing fetch. He's doing ok with crate training and sleeps in it at night with minimal whining before going to sleep. Ash knows the commands sit & lay down and is almost 100% potty trained.

Ash weighs about 30 lbs and is up to date on core vaccines, up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. He will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay/neuter at a later date and must show vet records at that time.
Adoption Requirements:
*A secure & visible fence
*A home visit
*A vet check with at least a two year vet history
Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states: Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. We are able to help transport to those states.
