We got Raksha when our first son is 1 year old. Raksha was 2 month that time. We travelled few days to bring raksha home.
Raksha is a pure Akita and her both parents won dog show championship. When Raksha was puppy, we brought her to train, thinking one day she could join dog show also.
Raksha is with us for more than 8 years. We play with her, travel with her and my kids love her. She is extremely friendly with human. Raksha is very playful with male dogs. However, she does not get along well with other female dogs.
However, we are moving to Seattle and the house we could afford rent there is very small and it would be hard to keep a big dog anymore.
We hope a good family could adopt raksha.
