Introducing the "Precious Stones" litter. Diamond, Jade, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald! SO very precious indeed! Just like their namesake gemstones, these silky kittens are beautiful are unique just as the precious stones every girl wants and admires! This litter was lucky enough to land in a foster home where they were nurtured and loved on, so each kittens loves human companionship and enjoys the company of other cats! Jade sports a beautiful dappled calico pattern in splashes of white, black, and gray. Jade loves to cuddle and play and purr. She has amazing energy and will provide years of love and companionship. Take advantage of our "Kitten Galore" Adoption Special during the month of July and adopt 2 kittens for the adoption fee of $125. The Adoption Counselors will review your application and if approved will contact you to pay an adoption hold fee to reserve the animal.

Meet the Pet

All adopters need an appointment to meet the pet due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thank you for choosing adoption! We hope that you will find a pet that will become a long time member of your family! Currently we are open to visitors and adopters via appointments only. The Adoption Counselors can schedule a time to visit after reviewing your accepted application. Please visit our website to see the pets profile and apply for them electronically. All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, have rabies and distemper shots (age appropriate), and are de-wormed and microchipped. he Humane Society of Charles County (HSCC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies completely on private donations and its own fundraising abilities to operate. We do not receive any federal, state or government funding or any funds from any national animal welfare organizations to operate.

The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home.
