Coal is the prettiest, most coal black boy in the shelter and we're praying that doesn't stop someone from taking him home! He is a hoss of a dog but he is the most gentle and loving soul that any of us has ever seen! He came from an abuse and neglect situation but he doesn't hold that against anybody. He is more than ready to be someone's couch potato! He gets along with all the dogs here, male and female. He does like to chase cats if they run from him but he has never got ahold of one. We think he just likes the game of chase. We think he would be great in a family with children due to his calm demeanor. He doesn't potty in his kennel so we believe he is house trained! He does well on a leash and is not a fence destroyer, digger or climber! His adoption fee is reduced to $200 due to him already being neutered. He will need Rabies vaccinated and microchipped. He was tested for Heartworms and is positive for them. We are hoping to find him a soft landing where someone will give him the care he has not received in his life.
