My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"BETA" Beirut for the ethical Treatment of Animals is a long time partner with Mag Mutts and does amazing work rescuing animals from the absolute worst situations imaginable that most humans cannot fathom even occur.  For more information, they can be found on Facebook under their name.

JoJo is one such story.  At just barely 2 months old, he was found lying in a field of filthy rubbish, unable to walk and clearly in a great deal of pain. BETA's team immediately dispatched, gathered him up and rushed him to the emergency clinic for urgent medical treatment.

It was found that JoJo had a fractured femur (a very painful break) and the clear reason for his immobility. While undergoing the surgery to repair the break, and with keen eyes from the Vets helping him, it was found that this sweet puppy had been attacked by another dog. JoJo's body was loaded with multiple puncture wounds that were all infected.

JoJo spent time at the ICU Clinic during recovery and even had 'physical therapy' post surgery to help him regain his strength and assist him in making a complete recovery.

Now, JoJo is approximately 18 months old, between 55-60lbs and has made the journey from Lebanon into our care for us to help him find his forever home.  This handsome, resilient boy is very sweet, healthy, playful and all the characteristics that one would look for in a wonderful family pet!

Good with other dogs, cats unknown and kids need to be 10+ years old.

We recommend obedience training for all pups and dogs!

**Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent.

**Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment.  Thank you for your interest!

More about this rescue

Magnificent Mutt is a group of dedicated volunteers who provide love, hope and a safe sanctuary to our animals in need. They transport, foster, feed and train our many animals. The volunteers give their time and love to the dogs so the dogs learn that humans do indeed care. Not all volunteers foster; their are many other areas where help is needed such as: organizing/running adoption and fundraising events, writing/creating flyers, and other various marketing efforts. We work as a team, and use all of our skills to benefit the animals and the organization.

We are always seeking dog-lovers who want to contribute their time and effort to help us achieve our goals. If you are interested in becoming a Mutts Volunteer, please see our page on Volunteering!
