Penny - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!

Meet Penny, an adorable pup who's as sweet as can be! She's young, sprightly, and raring to find her furever home. Penny has all the love to give and is looking for a family to lavish it on.

She may be small (for now), but she has a big personality! Full of energy and love, she's sure to bring a smile to your face. Her favorite activities include walks in the park, chasing after a ball, and curling up on the couch for a movie night with her favorite humans.

She's just a young 6 month pup and has so much love and mischief in her. Penny can't wait to meet you to begin life's adventures together!

Her twin sister, Piper is also waiting for her furever family!!

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

The purpose and objective of our organization is to perform the following educational and charitable activities, as well as providing both shelter services to equines, and rehabilitation to abused, neglected or abandoned horses:

(1) promote and educate the public on horse slaughter and equine abuse
(2) Rescue, retrain and rehome slaughter bound, abused, or neglected horses
(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
