My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe is a 2 year old rescue coming from Madison County Animal Shelter. They told us she was a stray, but her behavior and some of her habits lead them to think she's been trained to some extent, and that she was a house dog at one time with how well groomed she was. She walks very easily with minimal pulling, knows how to sit and is very affectionate; despite her size, she would love to be a lap dog. Phoebe loves other dogs and new people, and gets very excited around them. She has lots of energy, so a home with a large, fenced in yard would probably be best for her, as well as a dog friend to play with (or someone who will be around to play and love on her). She does crate well, though needs persuading with treats to get in. Overall she would make an excellent dog for someone who wants a happy, playful, energetic companion that loves to snuggle and explore.
