Lucy is in need of new home near Asheville, Raleigh, or anywhere in between. I took her in when she was a puppy. Assuming she was ~3 months old at the time, I believe she was born in Dec 2021. A friend of mine that owned a business in downtown Raleigh was giving her food, water & shelter in his store after she wandered in as a stray. He asked if I could take her since he was so busy & couldn't give her proper care. She was very easy to house & crate train; she learned commands for sit, lay down & to give a paw within another month or so. Her only setback to learning more was her high energy level. While that’s been reigned in, she is still very playful & energetic. She is an absolute sweetheart & loves to meet new people & dogs. She can play a little too rough for some small dogs, but she means well & just doesn’t understand her size. My mother & I both have health issues that affect our strength/mobility. She's grown too strong for us & needs more room for zoomies than we can provide.
