My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brooklyn is ready to find his home in the Big Apple with his adorable scruffy look and perfect size (22 lbs!). He's a 1 year old good boy who knows "sit' and "paw" and is an A+ car rider. So far he's done fine with other dogs and is house trained and crate trained in his NC foster.

Brooklyn is microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines, and neutered.

Additional adoption info

We have a strict adoption process. An adoption application must be completed and submitted via our website. A home check is mandatory. We also check all personal and vet references.
We need to feel confident that our animals are going to loving and benevolent homes that are financially stable. We require an adoption fee for each of our dogs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and heart worm tested.

More about this rescue

See Spot Rescued has a single purpose, to provide a permanent loving home for every homeless dog. We strive to make the best possible match between the family and the dog, based on previous history, breed and experience. We work from the premise that each of these four legged furry beasts are our clients. Our mission is to find them a lifetime companion whom will provide them eternal unconditional love. See Spot Rescued focuses on saving dogs from high kill shelters in the South, specifically in rural North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky. No matter their age, breed, or health, if they’ve come into contact with a See Spot Rescued representative, then they can rest assured we will care for them.
