Hey there, I’m a handsome MinPin/Shepherd mix named Carlisle, about 1 year old, 24 lbs and I was a stray dog in San Antonio Texas, hanging out with a doggy friend for company and support. We had our regular rounds through a neighborhood with one nice house where the lady was feeding us, and a few months later she decided to bring us inside and called 4 Little Paws for help. These days we are both living in foster homes, have been vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and are now ready to find forever homes.

I’m a very nice boy, friendly with people young and old, shy at first in new situations, but an hour later I’m over it and feeling happy. I’m sweet and friendly with other dogs of any size but at playtime, I play rough, better suited for dogs my size or bigger as playmates. I’m very social and love my people, affectionate but not in a smothering way. I’m more the type who will be happy laying on the floor nearby instead of trying to be a lap dog. I’d say I’m athletic and have springs in my legs, can jump very high, and love to run. I divide my time nicely between time to play and time to relax, with time left over for walks to the park or rides in the car, and I’ll just get in the back seat and make myself comfortable. I’m an excellent road trip companion and enjoy being active. I’m almost housebroken and know how to use a doggy door. I’m not a fan of being kept in a crate but who would be? I am a very good boy looking for love and some fun new adventures. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
