Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cheery-O, Winston Theodore is my name, I come from the dangerous streets alone, very hungry and scared- I was born around the 3rd of September, '23 and am a probable Pitty-mix breed. Currently I am a peasly 35 pounds, am needing to gain more and work toward a healthy weight of 50-65 pounds as an adult- best guess, but this awesome group has helped me become healthy enough for shots and getting neutered to help control the population and prevent cases like me. I'm a good boy who loves other dogs and people to give me comfort and safety- they are also cool to play with!
Winston is potty trained, uses a heavy duty crate well, walks on a leash, loves food, bones, and knows a couple basics. Winston has met a couple of young children and done well with them but unlike dogs he doesn't spend time in a home with them or cats- so proper intros are needed. Winston also will need a fully secure fenced yard since he was a stray- it's only right to ensure his safety. It sounds like a lot- but this guy is a total sweetie and his past shouldn't define his future! If you'd love to make this guy's dreams come true... follow the link below to find and complete the required ADOPTION APPLICATION.
**PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must live within an hour radius of Toledo, Ohio
*Winston is neutered, current on shots, microchipped, and current on flea/heartworm prevention.
*His adoption fee is $300.00

Dogworks strives to place dogs into permanent homes based on the dogs' personalities and yours. To adopt a dog, we require a completed application, signed adoption contract, and home visit.
Adoption applications are available on our website (www.dogworksohio.com) and at all Meet & Greets. Once your application has been submitted, we will contact your references and consider suitability. You will be contacted by phone or email, typically within 4 business days, to discuss arrangements for adoption contract and home visit.
Adoption fees are variable (typically $125-$250) and are listed with the description of each dog. Adoption fee will be refunded if you decide that the dog is not compatible with your family within 2 weeks.
Adopted dogs must be returned to Dogworks in the event that they can no longer remain a member of your household for any reason.
All dogs have been updated on vaccines and tested for heartworm prior to adoption. Adult dogs and puppies older than 14 weeks are spayed/neutered. Adopters of younger puppies are required to sign an agreement to complete spay/neuter by 6 months of age. We will assist with spay/neuter costs. Adopters will receive a copy of medical records.
