My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kyro!

A spirited five-year-old Siberian Husky from Phoenix, AZ, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a luxurious grey and white coat. Standing large and proud at 63 pounds, Kyro is the embodiment of energy and affection, making him the perfect companion for those who cherish both fun and a bit of a challenge.

Kyro’s favorite pastimes revolve around his beloved bones and squeaky toys. You’ll often find him prancing around with his toys, his ears perked up and his tail wagging with excitement! Although he hasn't had formal obedience training, Kyro knows a few basics like "sit," "lay down," and can "stay" for a bit—enough to impress and keep you smiling!

One of Kyro’s most endearing qualities is his lovable nature. He’s a playful bundle of joy who thrives on companionship, making him a constant shadow at your side! His friendly demeanor extends to strangers, other dogs, and even young children, making him a versatile addition to any family dynamic. However, Kyro’s high energy levels mean he’ll need plenty of exercise and a securely fenced yard to roam and play safely.

While Kyro handles being left alone for short periods without any fuss, extended solitude isn't his cup of tea. He craves interaction and can become anxious if left alone for too long. But with a family that understands his need for activity and companionship, Kyro will flourish and bring endless happiness to his new home!

Kyro is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and fully house-trained. His diet consists of Nutro So Simple beef flavor dry food, which keeps him healthy and satisfied.

Kyro's potential adopters should be ready for an active and fun-loving dog who can sometimes be a bit stubborn. His high energy and need for engagement mean he’s best suited for a family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities and can provide the time and attention he needs.

Also, Kyro is open to a long-distance adoption—love knows no distance when finding your perfect companion!

Are you ready to welcome this lovable, high-energy husky into your life and embark on countless adventures together? If so, Kyro is waiting to meet you! Contact adopt@joyfulpets.com to start your journey with this incredible companion!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our ultimate goal is to unite as many animals with loving pet parents as possible, so we strive to make it easy to adopt a dog or cat you have fallen in love with. All we ask is that you fill out an adoption application so that we have all the information we need to determine that you'll be able to provide a safe and compassionate home to one of our rescued pets. Once approved, all you need to do is sign our adoption agreement form and provide an adoption donation so that we can continue to save more animals every day and unite them with families just like yours.
