Hi, I'm Pookie! I've spent time with kids and dogs, so I'm pretty well-rounded. I'm a friendly feline, always ready for a good cuddle. My best friend is Igor. We're like two peas in a pod, always having fun together. I'm sweet and mellow, the perfect companion for a quiet evening at home. I'm looking for a family who will love me as much as I will love them. Why should you adopt me? Because I promise to make every day a little brighter with my love and companionship. Also don't mind my eyes, I had a procedure done on my lower eye lids and the vets here say I'm healing well post surgery! Come meet us at Yay for Strays Cat Cafe starting June 9th!

More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
