My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Taco and Patsy are a bonded pair, they must be adopted together!*

Prepare to fall in love with the softest bun buns you'll ever meet. Taco and Patsy are inseparable and love exploring new things together. They are 1 year old Rex Mixes that would love to have a hoppy life in your home. They were brought to the Humane Society their previous owner could no longer take care of them the way they deserved to be. Because of their breeds, Taco and Patsy are just as soft, if not softer than velvet. They are very sweet and curious about people and are getting used to being petted. Both Taco and Patsy are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Both of these very sweet buns buns are ready to find their forever home with you today. They would love a nice big indoor enclosure where they have pellets, timothy hay, water, fresh fruits and veggies, and chew toys accessible at all times. Our dynamic duo are available at the Benbrook Waggin' Tails Adoption Center every day from 12-6 p.m. If you have any questions, give us a ring at 817-249-3647.

More about this shelter

Our History
The Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) was founded in 1905 and is the oldest animal welfare organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. While the organization’s name has evolved from the Fort Worth Humane Society in 1905, to the Tarrant County Humane Society in 1910, to the Humane Society of North Texas in 1982, its focus has always been on caring for animals in need. HSNT provides services such as pet adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, returning lost pets to their owners, cruelty investigations and humane euthanasia. HSNT operates four pet adoption centers and a quarantine facility in Tarrant County, as well as an equine and livestock ranch located in Johnson County.
