My name is Columbia!

Meet Columbia!

7-year-old Columbia came to us from Inland Valley Humane Society S.P.C.A. on May 22nd. She is a very sweet and spunky girl who doesn't let recovering from a leg injury slow her down, as you can see in the video! She weighs 10.6 lbs.

Columbia asks that you go slow with her, but once she knows you. she's all in for kisses and belly rubs! She's very very fast too, so make sure you have a tight grip on her leash!

Columbia is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what she is like in a home. We received a great first update from her Fling Mom:

"Columbia is the cutest. She's still skittish about loud noises and moving towards her too quickly, but she is becoming more confident every day.

Columbia has a sore on her paw but seems to be putting more weight on it. She gets excited to go for walks and doesn't pull on leash. She's gotten used to the sling I bring on longer walks, so she can rest her sore arm. She is playful and likes balls and soft toys.

Columbia does fine at the dog park and is polite and curious with the other dogs, but mostly uninterested. She hasn't been very interested in my dog at home so far either, but seems to like being near him.

Columbia is a great girl who just wants to be adored and feel safe and have a little fun."
