My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flour! He's accepting visitors beginning Thursday, May 23rd.

This spotted guy arrived at HSoP as a stray and was unfortunately never claimed by an owner. We decided to name him Flour, and now he's on the hunt for a loving forever home.

We estimate Flour to be around 2 years old. He still has puppy energy, but is relatively mature and quick to follow commands. Flour is extremely eager to please his human friends and will sit and stay when prompted. With how happy he is to please his people, Flour would probably excel with continued training in his new home!

He has a wonderful disposition - Flour is almost always in a happy and goofy mood. He absolutely loves being pet and scratched, and can be quite affectionate when he wants to be.

Since Flour arrived as a stray, we can't say how he would get along with children, cats, or other dogs in his future home. We do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption, and Flour will be required to meet any dogs in the home prior to leaving HSoP.

Flour can't go home until he's been neutered (not scheduled yet) but he can certainly accept applications in the meantime. Anyone interested in Flour should come visit him at HSoP! Our dog kennels are open 1:00-5:00pm Monday through Saturday with no appointments needed. Visit us today at 2019 E White Ave Moscow, ID 83843.

Additional adoption info

Adopters must live in a pet-friendly environment with proof from their landlord or rental agency. We contact the landlord or rental agency of each potential adopter to confirm the animal is being adopted into a welcoming space.

We require introductions between our available dogs and any other canines living in the household prior to adoption. This helps to ensure a good fit for the whole family before taking them home.
