Animal Profile: Watson is an estimated 5-6 year old 30-35 lb neutered male tri-color mixed breed who was found as a stray in Texas and taken in by our rescue partner. He is described as a happy go lucky and playful dog who loves everyone and everything. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.
Foster Update:
Watson has settled in nicely with his fosters. He loves playing tug with the resident pup and is attentive and responsive to his humans. He is learning the basic commands quickly and once settled in he sleeps quietly in his crate through the night. Watson is an energetic boy that would love an active family. He’d do well with other dogs, or an active family looking for a dog to take on adventures! Watson has a strong prey drive on walks and his fosters are working on leash manners. This will require ongoing training support but he is a quick learner and eager to please. We will continue to add updates about this sweet boy as we continue to learn more about him.
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
