Eli is an adult (6-8 years) male pit bull looking for a forever family. He has a past full of abuse and neglect, but he is now healthy and ready for a home of his own. Eli is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and current on his prevention. He has lived in multiple foster homes with other dogs and young children and has done well.

Eli is a sweet soul who needs time to settle in and gain trust... but once he knows you're a safe space, it is all couch snuggles and sloppy kisses!

Our rigorous adoption process ensures we are selecting the right home for each individual dog and his/her unique personality. This includes an application, home check, veterinary reference check, personal reference checks (only in certain situations), landlord checks (for rentals), phone interview with candidate, and meet and greet with our dog. From there we sign paperwork, pay the fee and send the dog home. We follow up frequently during the first few weeks, but are always a resource to our adopters.
