Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet James
Meet James, an adult cat with a zest for life. He has a playful nature and a silliness to him that can make you smile. He's not just all fun and games though; James is also incredibly smart and brave, always curious about his surroundings. He can swat and bat at you at times, with playful intent, but with no claws out. He loves being petted when he knows what is going to happen. Showing the back of your hand he puts his head down and enjoys the touch of pets and scratches—if he doesn’t know your intent he may back up and swat at you. When he is being petted his purrs are so loud and he even starts to drool with happiness. He tends to get along better with cats that will make sure he knows their boundaries. With other cats that are more submissive he can try to assert his dominance. James is not a good fit for households with kids and we don’t known how he acts around dogs. He has a lot of love to give in the right environment. He needs a cat-savy person who will give him the chance to get used to his new surroundings, learn his signals for when he feels comfortable and when he isn’t. He's been through a lot, but his spirit remains unbroken. If you're looking for a companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your home with joy and surprises, consider adopting James. His resilience and zest for life are sure to inspire you every day. He is estimated at about 2-3 years old. Adoption application can be found at this link- https://airtable.com/shrGSvgMTS3wUQn2H
