Meet the lovely ❤️ LOVEY ❤️ This gal was found dumped at a Mississippi parking lot, discarded like common trash. Thankfully, a loving soul scooped her up and brought her into the rescue world. We’re so happy to tell you that Lovey is now in a foster home in Wisconsin and is looking for a family that will love her forever - just like her name, she has so much love to give! This little gal is going to be a medium sized doggy - at 7 months she only weighs 35lbs. She has these beautiful white markings on her brown and black coat and her floppy ears are heart-melters!! We’re working hard on showing Lovey that being a dog is actually really fun - she’s discovering her favorite toys (the ones with the squeakers!) and she’s learning that her kennel is her safe space and leash walking leads to great adventures! She’s very shy upon meeting new people right now, but her foster family is working on her confidence, with lots of treats of course. She has been fostered with many dogs of all ages and loves all her fluffy companions! We are so in love with Lovey! If you also fall in love, apply for Lovey at www.sandipaws.org Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Additional adoption info

A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
