Meet Smokey, a loving and loyal 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur who is ready to find his forever home. Smokey was abandoned with his brother at a church, but we have had the pleasure of having him as part of our family for almost two years. Unfortunately, with a baby on the way and demanding work schedules, we can no longer give him the attention and care he deserves.Smokey is an intelligent and energetic dog who loves to play and explore. He is crate-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside when he's in his crate. However, he still needs some house training as he hasn’t fully mastered letting you know when he's out of the crate. He loves to jump, but he listens well when told to get down.Smokey gets along well with other dogs and is always eager to make new friends. He’s up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered. He enjoys long walks, playing fetch, and snuggling up for a good nap. Please consider him for a forever home.
