Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Autumn is a shy and quiet lady when you first get to know her, but we'll tell you the secret code to her heart: a wand toy! There is no better way to bond with Autumn than interactive play. She is little sensitive about too much touch and will let you know when she needs a break. She prefers to be an only pet, as she doesn't get along with other cats or dogs. Autumn loves to scratch, so a variety of scratchers will keep her happy and content. Though she doesn't like to be picked up and may hide from new people, with time and patience, she will reveal her sweet and playful side. If you're looking for a fun companion who just needs a little extra love to blossom, Autumn is the perfect cat for you.

To adopt visit us at 1101 Western Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15233 during the Adoption Center Hours below.
Our adoption process is aimed at matching you, your family and your current pets with our animals for adoption. An adoption counselor (or volunteer) will introduce you to our animals in a private meeting room. We will share information about the animal's history and needs, behavior assessment and any volunteer / staff comments.
When you find the right pet for you and your family, the adoption counselor will assist you in completing the proper paperwork. This process includes signing an adoption contract, reviewing medical history and providing proper pet care information. This process takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
What you will need in order to adopt:
A valid PA state ID with your current address.
We recommend all members of the household meeting the animal before adopting.
If you are interested in adopting a dog and have other dog(s) living in your household, it is recommended that all dogs meet each other at the shelter.
Certain animals require additional steps.
Adoption fee is accepted in cash or credit/debit card. Checks, American Express and Discover are not accepted as payment.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to hold or accept a deposit for animals. Adoptions are approved for the first qualified home.
