There's a lot to learn when you have a new pet. Our sister brand, The Wildest, is here to support you—with new pet checklists, virtual training, and expert guides. Sign up for free.
Ava is a very sweet 4 year old girl who loves to sit at your feet. She will let you know she’s there but she doesn’t need any attention from you.
She does love to lick! If you hold your finger out for her she’ll lick you finger until you pull it away!
She’s a bit shy and scared of quick movements, but not to worry she’ll scurry off and come back once it quiets down.
Ava enjoys a place to escape.. under the bed, a comfy closet or even at the head of your bed while it’s empty!
With the right owner Ava just might come out of her shell and not be so scared. She’s sweet and loves the zoomies! You can’t help but laugh when she chases her own tail or shadow!
Ava originally came to HART from a rural Kentucky shelter with her sister. They were originally adopted together into a family that had an older cat. For some reason Ava and the older kitty did not get along. So Ava was returned to HART. She was adopted a 2nd time, but through no fault of her own, she was once again returned to HART.
She would love to find her true forever home.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!
