Poor Rusty, he was involved in a neglect case and was removed from his abusive owners in a terrible state. He was severely under weight and malnourished. He had hair loss and sores on his body. His eyes begged for help. We couldn't let him suffer and then be a candidate for euthanasia so... he is an ASR pup now! He is friendly to human and likes to pal around with his dog friends. He has not been cat tested, but he does have a gentle demeanor. He LOVES toys. If there is a ball he is chasing it our chewing on it. He is good on a leash and doesn't mind his baths. Overall he is a very good boy and would be the perfect addition to a loving home that would want to pamper him for the rest of his days. Rusty is neutered, microchipped, up to date on yearly vaccines and current on flea and tick prevention. His adoption fee is $495.

Submit Application

Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms-applications

Interview

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

3.
Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

4.
Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
