Debbie is an adorable pup who is looking for a home! Debbie came to us from the NYC shelter system where she was found with Libby as a stray.

Debbie and Libby were found as emaciated pups. We don't know how someone could deprive them of food and basic care and them dump them like trash but it appears that is exactly what happened. They are sweet, friendly pups who need some love and groceries to get them back up to a healthy weight. They are dog and cat friendly. At this age, Debbie would likely do well with kids too.

Debbie is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She will be fixed when she is back up to a healthy weight. Her adopter must live within driving distance of the Spay-Neuter Center in Holmdel, NJ. Wag On Inn will cover the cost of her spay as part of the adoption fee. Her adoption fee is $550.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
