My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ginger!

He's an adult guinea pig with a heart full of joy. This friendly fellow has a knack for brightening days with his sweet, happy demeanor. He's a lover of gentle strokes and a good listener, always ready to lend an ear to anyone in need of a friend. Ginger's world revolves around peaceful afternoons, soft chirps, and the rustle of fresh hay. His charm is infectious, spreading warmth and happiness wherever he goes. Adopting Ginger means opening your home to a bundle of joy, a companion who promises to bring a daily dose of sweetness into your life.

With questions about Ginger, or any of our other small animals available for adoption, please contact Olivia at olivia.warburton@rispca.org.

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
