We have four delightful puppies eagerly looking for their forever homes! Here’s everything you need to know about them:
Age: 10 weeks old Vaccinations: First set given; second set due in 3 weeks Travel Ready: Mid-June to New England Gender: 3 boys and 1 girl (Lola, Tank, White Claw and Dozer)
These puppies came from an "oops" litter in Memphis (no, we do not approve, but here we are). Their owner was unable to care for them, so they are now in loving foster homes. Paws New England is also ensuring that mom and dad are spayed and neutered as part of our help with the puppies.
So far, these little beans are well-socialized and thriving in their learning and socialization curve. They are playful, affectionate, and ready to bring joy to their new families.

Breed: Pit Bull Terrier/Crossbreed Age: 11 weeks on 5/27/2024 Weight: Almost 12 lbs on 5/27 Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced. Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. All vaccinations required after adoption are the adopter's responsibility. Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age) Housetrained: Not usually Microchipped: Yes

Puppy Adoption Fee: $550.00 (includes a spay/neuter surgery rebate of up to $200.00 to be paid to the adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England). We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested.
The adoption fee also includes the transport fee.
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.
PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?

PAWS is comprised of a small group of volunteers from New England and Tennessee trying to reduce the euthanization rate (previously 90%) at the Tipton County Animal Control shelter in Brighton, Tennessee. This shelter is forced to euthanize thousands of animals each year due to irresponsible pet owners that do not spay/ neuter their dogs in the area. Millions of dogs in America are euthanized each year due to lack of space and lack of funding to try and find them better homes.
Our mission is to save as many animals as possible, removing them from the shelter, having their veterinary needs met prior to traveling and then finding them loving homes throughout New England. We do this only with the assistance of many people volunteering their time by going to the shelter, transporting the dogs to the vet, fostering dogs who need special care, and arranging for their new and happy homes in this area. Most importantly, we cannot do any of this without those people willing to open their homes and hearts to these lovely creatures.
