A scared, skinny puppy approached us during my dog walk. After petting him once, he was glued to me. Efforts to find his original owners have been fruitless so far. Although he is already 49 lbs (and likely 60-70 once full grown), his sweet, gentle and loving nature is perfect for a family with children or other pets.
Buddy seems to be very intelligent and eager to please. After double digit indoor “accidents” in the first 24 hours, 5 days later he is now walking towards the door when he needs relief, and we are on day 3 with no surprises. He has also responded well to staying in a cage/crate overnight or when I leave the house.
I have an older, arthritic female dog who doesn’t enjoy Buddy’s puppy energy so I can’t keep him long-term. But this little guy is so full of personality and love and just needs to find a family that will appreciate what an awesome dog he is!
