This helps Heartland Small Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Lisa is a 2 year old bearded dragon. She is very small for her age, I would assume due to improper lighting in her previous home. She also has either a birth defect or a improperly healed injury to one of her front legs. Despite it looking different, Lisa gets around her enclosure just fine! She is currently in a 67 gallon front open enclosure with non adhesive shelf liner substrate, a few hides, slate basking spot, some decor and food dishes. She will require a t5 10.0 or 12% linear UVB fixture and minimum 100W basking bulb. I would prefer to see Lisa go to a 75 gallon or ideally a 4x2x2 front open enclosure. She loves to run around and investigate and needs ample room to do so! Lisa tolerates handling and is getting used to loving it but will need someone who will take time to help her feel comfortable in a new situation. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
