My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foster Home Needed for Sweet Senior Kitty – Metro Atlanta

Meet Willow.
She’s the definition of “easy.” A chill, gentle kitty who’s perfectly content to nap in a sunny spot, enjoy her meals, and offer quiet companionship.

After losing her longtime kitty housemate last year, Willow has clung tightly to the comfort of her human parent. But now, her aging parent is facing challenges and needs temporary help to keep Willow safe and cared for.

Willow is:
✨ Spayed
✨ Up-to-date on vaccines
✨ Low-maintenance
✨ Friendly, calm, and affectionate

She just needs a foster home for a short time—a safe, quiet place where she can feel loved while her parent regains stability. This is the heartbreaking reality for many senior citizens who adore their pets but can’t always care for them during life’s unexpected turns.

If you can open your heart and home to Willow, even for a little while, please email:

Please share to help us find a kind soul in Metro Atlanta who can give Willow the peace and comfort she deserves.

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
