My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roki is 6yo, weighs 12lbs, is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, is microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, as his veterinary records will substantiate.  Roki's guardian adds:

"Roki was adopted 3 years ago with the intent of providing another cat companionship. The other cat was raised with siblings but had been without a companion at home for two years at the time of Roki's adoption. The hope was to keep her a little less lonely. Roki is head over heels for his feline friend but the cat in question doesn't get along with him. She's made it very clear that she'd rather be by herself.

Because Roki loves to play so much, he goes after the other cat frequently, as he has a lot of energy. This tends to result in fights. Roki is nowhere near aggressive, and he's incredibly social. But it's unsure if OTHER cats behave well with him. Roki behaves very well with other cats, but to the extent of being codependent on him. He is always hanging around the other cat, to the point of her annoyance. This has made it very hard to surrender Roki. He clearly loves his feline friend, but her stress levels have increased and caused her health problems. Because of this, I'd like Roki to go to another family who can better care for him/release his energy/provide him companionship the way he deserves.

I am just looking for Roki to go to a home that loves him.  I live in a very small condo and work most of the day, outside the home  Because of this, and because of how codependent Roki is, he needs more time with others.  Perhaps a family with children would work best for him, or someone retired who can be home with him more often.  Roki has a LOT of energy and needs to expend it, which also can't be done in my small space.

Roki plays fetch!!  He's also had outside time on a leash, and has no problem wearing a cat vest to take a walk outside.  Roki dislikes/fears vacuums but really enjoys car rides."

Roki's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him:  Roki's guardian adopted him as a companion to her other resident feline, but it hasn't worked out.  Although Roki is loving and playful, his energy is too high which has caused fights and health problems with his feline sibling.

Roki's guardian offers a brief a medical history:  Roki is in excellent; he contracted fleas at one time and it was eradicated.

Roki's guardian states the following regarding children:  Although Roki hasn't been around children while in his current home, his guardian recommends his living with children, stating...

"Roki has never been around children in my 3 years with him. It's possible he's been around children in the past. He was adopted at age 3."

Roki's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Although Roki doesn't live with a dog, his guardian recommends his living with dogs, stating...

"I do not know if Roki has been around dogs before but he's had no issues being around dogs while taking him on a walk."

Roki's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Roki lives with a cat, so his guardian recommends his living with cats, stating...

"Roki LOVES other cats.  It's a matter of if the other cats take to him or not.  My current cat does not."

Roki's guardian describes him as:

Very active
Playful
Friendly
Likes to be touched
Affectionate
Always at your side
Likes men
Likes women

Roki's guardian describes his ideal future home:

"The ideal future home for Roki would be a spacious home that gives him plenty of space to run and have zoomies, and lots of windows to bird watch.  A family that is present would be the best situation for him.  He's very social, lovable, and codependent. I'm not home enough to take care of him."

Rehoming Fee:  None
