Beautiful Cordelia is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.
Cordelia was dumped outside in the country and took refuge at someone's house. She appears to be a purebred German Shepherd, around 1 year of age, and weighing 70 pounds. Cordelia is a good, obedient girl, She is very loving and takes pets and affection at every opportunity. She knows how to sit and shake paw. She is housetrained and crate-trained. She is fairly well-behaved in the house, but since she is still very young, she does counter-surf or raid a garbage can if the opportunity presents itself. Cordelia walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. She loves toys. Cordelia has learned to play with other dogs but can still be a little too rough with smaller dogs. So she should always be supervised around smaller dogs. Cordelia understandably had some separation anxiety because she was dumped. We have worked through most of this but she still likes to stay close to her human and we have to close the door on her to make her go potty by herself out in the yard. Cordelia could benefit from more obedience training with someone firm, patient, and loving. Cordelia must be in the house as a loved family member, she must be walked on a leash and have a fenced yard to run and play.
Cordelia is a healthy and happy girl. She is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. We would love Cordelia to have a fabulous forever home. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Columbus, Akron, or Cincinnati OH. Cordelia is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl.
