This handsome, gentle giant is Byron! He ended up as a lost boy at the shelter on 5/19, and no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Byron as friendly, affectionate, and likable. He is quiet and calm in his kennel and passes the time by sleeping on his Kuranda bed. Byron walks well on leash and really only pulls when he see another dog. He sits nicely for treats and takes them very gently! He is strong, and since he is such a large boy he'll need someone who is comfortable handling and has experience with XL dogs. Byron also seems to be house-trained because he keeps his kennel tidy and does his business right away once outside!

Byron is approximately 2 years old, and he weighs 103 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Byron in run 882; his ID # is 657802.
