My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for royalty to join your family, then beautiful blue-eyed princess Esperanza could be your girl! This princess isn't your typical royalty though. She is easygoing and unimposing, using her sweet voice to ask for both soft pets of her silky coat or to let you know that it's time to eat. Playtime for "Essie" usually involves a feather wand toy, although she also enjoys her quiet time, often spending it on a windowsill watching birds or atop the cat tree for a sweet catnap.

Esperanza is a bashful, gentle soul who prefers a calm environment so a quiet home would be best. Essie has not been exposed to dogs, though with a slow introduction to a cat-friendly dog she should be perfectly fine. She is, however, used to the resident kitties so a home with a friendly, non-dominant kitty will help her blossom even more.

Esperanza is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

She currently lives with her foster family in Foresthill.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Esperanza please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Sharon at myfosterkittens05@gmail.com If you are unable to reach Sharon please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Additional adoption info

READY TO ADOPT?
The first step in the adoption process for your new kitty is to submit an adoption application. The second step is to contact the foster home listed on the specific cat(s) or kittens you are interested in to find out more. Are you adopting a kitten? Kittens do best when they have a friend or two to grow up with! Kittens who grow up with another feline friend tend to be well-behaved, well-adjusted, and overall happier. Purebred Plus Cat Rescue kittens are typically adopted as pairs or as a single kitten to homes with an appropriate feline playmate. If you prefer only one kitten, we strongly encourage you to consider one of our wonderful older kittens or young adult cats that are available!

Go meet their pets

Our cats are neutered or spayed, vaccinated and FELV/FIV tested. We are not a shelter. All of our cats are fostered in private homes. The whole goal of the adoption process is to ensure the cat or kitten is a good fit for you, the adopter, and your environment. We are looking for the best fit NOT first come first serve. We always focus on what is the best for the cat or kitten.

When you adopt from Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue, you are saving TWO lives - the cat you adopt and the cat who gets to take its place in rescue!

More about this rescue

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, socialization, and rehoming of purebred and other exceptional cats and kittens into permanent homes. We are further dedicated to educating the public on the proper care of specific purebred breeds and the importance of spaying and neutering pets to control the animal population. We carefully match cats with their forever families by evaluating each cat's personality, temperament, and special needs.
