MEET PONCHO !! he is a PURE BRED POMERANIAN. He is a red sable with some white on his face and under body. He is playful and 7 yrs old ( middle aged for a toy dog) He needs a quiet calm home- with a LOVING attentive family. He is new here in rescue- He is laid back and very well mannered. He is not snappish at all.. He is a VERY friendly dog. Looking for a family / adopters with no YOUNG children-( under 8 ) people in a calm home, free of chaos. BIG dogs scare him unless you have an OLDER large dog that will not bother him. HE IS FINE with dogs HIS SIZE. He shows NO Interest in cats either way - so he should NOT have a problem with cats. He is a great dog for a companion & best friend. He came from a LOVING home, and his owner was a 70 yr old woman who simply couldn't care for him any longer. She was heartbroken to give him up- we are DEDICATED to make SURE he gets an EXCELLENT home, where he will once again be loved & cherished. He was not abused at all , in any way. He has NO behavior problems. We will update his pictures & profile as we get to know him better. ADOPTION FEE.. $225.00 with approved application..*** SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT will be given on this dog to RETIRED APPROVED ADOPTERS!***He is neutered up to date on all shots, will have a full dental cleaning- worming -heartworm NEG & preventative, and micro chip. ********************************************************************************************************************** ** PLEASE HELP!! PONCHO HAS KIDNEY STONES - HE REQUIRES A VERY EXPENSIVE PRESCRIPTION FOOD CALLED "SD" YOU CAN ONLY GET IT FROM A VET. HE NEEDS THIS FOOD FOR 6 WEEKS DAILY. THEN he will be checked again- hopefully the diet will dissolve the stones , and all will be well , and he can have his dental. If they do NOT dissolve the stones he may require surgery ! HE ALSO NEEDS A DENTAL- which is VERY EXPENSIVE , So far POOR PONCHO- is on his way to being WELL OVER his adoption fee, in bills.( and we are not even taking into account his senior citizen discount!) WE REALLY NEED HELP! HE is a super dog and deserves this medical attention. So he can get a LOVING forever home.
